This and That - including some lovely new stock .......

|

Hi Folks

First off - many thanks for the lovely feedback on the last blog - our first foray into a window display !! I plan to do another one next week so will keep you posted.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, we were shooting an amazing home yesterday for a magazine feature  - I cant show you too much for contractual reasons but here is a sneak peak ....

A big thanks to Kerry for making us feel so welcome - and for not batting an eyelid when we completely rearranged her living room to suit the camera !!! Normally the two vintage chairs are at the window - but we wanted the shot to "lead the eye" through the room - so we swapped them. I have seldom seen such a fabulous vintage collection of furniture and accessories so beautifully put together - she is one very talented lady.

Ashley, ably assisted by Stuart, so deserves his huge reputation as an ace interior photographer - it was a truly miserable dark wet day and it was through sheer genius lighting and his photography skills that the images look so good and do this stunning home justice!!!

I would kill for that fab old vintage leather chair btw - swoon !!! :)

Anyways - as the title of this blog suggests, we have been adding some lovely new stock to the site .... here goes ....

I like how this lamp works in either a modern country setting or something a little bit dressier ......

I know - we cant seem to get away from linen and stripes !!! But hey, it is kind of our signature thing :) ......

When the first "sayings" signs came out, I absolutely loved them - but having seen so many, I'm a little bit more reserved now - this little metal sign is light hearted but quite subtle I think .....

Another stylish yet versatile lamp .....

I love the subtle tone and simplicity of this bedspread ....

We don't do much in the way of lace and fancy trims here in NC - I guess our look tends to be quite pared down and simple - but I thought these napkins were a really unique blend of 'modern' with the grey tones and 'country' with the crochet trim ......

A matching runner is available - I really like this look when you want to make a little bit of an effort for having dinner guests - but yet not too formal either .....

And lastly, here is an image showing that lovely mole coloured bedspread in situ.....

Well folks, I think that's all for now - we were scheduled to shoot a hotel this coming week in Galway - but it has been postponed for a couple of weeks - and do you know what, I think I'll take the time to just catch my breath and possibly do a bit of a spring clean - but then again, it's barely spring yet so maybe I'll leave it and just tootle a bit - ahem !!

Take Care
